The beginning
On Monday, November 26, 1990, a beautiful 7-pound, 14-ounce baby girl entered the world to two parents who loved her deeply. I was born with a full head of hair and a perfect little button nose.

A true story of abuse, single motherhood, resilience, unwavering love, and the long journey toward healing.
For years, I lived believing the version of me that others created. I questioned my own reality, carried the weight of abuse, and fought battles that few people ever saw. Through heartbreak, fear, and unimaginable challenges, I became a mother determined to give my children the love, stability, and protection I often searched for myself.
This is the story of surviving abuse, raising children through adversity, enduring loss, finding strength when there seemed to be none left, and discovering that healing isn’t a destination—it’s a choice made over and over again.
More than anything, this is a story about resilience. About refusing to let trauma define a life. About learning that love can exist after pain, hope can return after despair, and that even the deepest wounds do not have to be the final chapter.
For anyone who has ever questioned their worth, doubted their reality, or wondered if life could ever get better, this story is proof that healing is possible.
